Jennifer Eremeeva

Jennifer Eremeeva is an American writer based in Moscow, Russia. She received a degree in Russian Area Studies from Columbia University and worked in the travel industry, hotel, airline and financial services sector before becoming a full-time writer in 2006. Jennifer’s interests include Russian history, culture, art and architecture; the Romanov dynasty, and culinary history. A popular blogger and columnist, she also is the author of leading American tour operator Alexander+Roberts’ travel blog. In 2011, Jennifer created Moscow’s leading English-language food blog, “The Moscovore Culinary Adventures in the Russian Capital” and http://jennifereremeeva.com/food/, which she continues to curate on her author website, where she also writes about food, history, daily life and the changing political situation in her adopted country. Jennifer also is the author of “Lenin Lives Next Door: Marriage, Martinis, and Mayhem in Moscow,” and a humorous nonfiction guide to Russian history, “Have Personality Disorder, Will Rule Russia.”
